Its my mummies birthday today so wll be going down to cornwall to surprise her - laden with goodies from Mr T, as well as WHSmith gift cards, and some home made cupcakes as well as lots of other bits and pieces. can't wait to see her, haven't seen her since november - normally see her at least once a month but with everything going on with FIL just doing day to day things takes effort - let alone trying to go cross country down to cornwall and back within 5 hours.

Hope you all have a great day as well and will catch up with you all later xxx

Have a lovely day Look forward to hearing all about it later

HC is your man for mac related questions really but a load of pics really shouldnt be slowing up your computer.

I bought a 500gb external HD and have downloaded all mine onto that. I still keep them on the PC though just in case one or the other fails.

Morning All - As usual I've not read back far and didn't catch up yesterday, but just a quickie this morning to thank you FK, and HC for your comments. I think the truth is I really need to spend some time getting more aquainted (sp?) with the mac and my camera!!! I generally take about 400 pics a weekend if there are competitive matches for the kids. (Both very sporty!!) I've been asked by both clubs to take 'official' piccies which is exciting but I am a bit of a fraud really, no knowledge etc! :o I think I'll slink off and start reading up and practising more! Thanks though chaps for your input.

Hugs to all those who are feeling miserable and worrying about families.

Good morning everyone :) hope your all ok xx

Sorry to hear that :( Have you tried using the travel sickness bracelets? The ones with the little bumpy plastic thing on your pressure point on your wrist? I didn't suffer any sickness with my twins (weird I know!!) but my friend suffered awfully and she swore by them

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just saw this posted on hukd

    Well all very peculiar.

I went into my Tesco at about 7pm and found them. Priced on the shelf as £4.28. However, took them to a cashier to scan and they came out at £1.

So I grabbed 7 and then went and did my normal shopping. I was ages and eventually went through the till at about 9pm. The cashier scanned 3 or 4 fine (and they came up as £1) but then he suddenly said "Oh, hold on - can I have those cheeses back?" I'd already put 3 in my bag.

He said a notice had come up saying they were not for sale? He took them back and tried scanning them again and this time each one came up with the notice. A superviser came over and said that there was a problem with the cheese and that they couldn't sell them. She then said that they had been advised not to by the manufacturer?

I said that I had already checked earlier and been told that they were £1 and they confirmed they were coming up at £1, but that is wasn't correct. They said they couldn't sell them to me. They couldn't really tell me why, other than each time they scanned them the notice said "not for resale".

So it seems like maybe their systems had been alerted?

So looks like deal is over.

    :(

I hope it's not over but I love seeing these posts because it shows it was a "true glitch" and T's messed up and "Martins people" sussed it:T:T:T:T That's why we're called the Elite;)
