i think i'm going to have to admit defeat tonight and not read back anymore, i'm exhausted and feeling a little rought tbh,
My youngest was sent home from school today :( he's got a really sore throat and bad cough and ive just noticed on my mobile that ive had messages from the school, they are sent to every parent via sms that say

92 pupils were away today ill. Ive spoken to public helath service- children should wait 48 hours after last symptoms before returning to school.
We apologise, but no large group activities can be held - therfore all assemblies - including friday morning ones are cancelled until after easter.
school nurse will be visiting to do hand washing techniques with all pupils and dicussing personal hygiene ect.
if your child is unwell you are advised to visit your GP and to inform us of what they say. there seem to be many viruses going around. DIOLCH
    From the head

    Umm sounds serious doesnt it?

I think it time schools as well as hospitals had hand gel bottles around

  • Buy a book called How To Win Your School Appeal by Ben Rooney. It is worth its weight in gold. Before you even go to all the trouble of appealing on personal grounds, it will show you how to check if there has been any procedural mistakes.
I too can recommend that book! Definately spend time on your appeal, we treated our a bit like a court case!:o but we won!!!:j
    Good Luck

203° Tesco Sparkling Water with a hint of... different flavours, 1 Litre. was 45p, now 20p each.
    6

I thought these were a fair price at 45p, but now at 20p its really good! I cant find this online but its in my local tesco extra, (Toton, Nottingham) im guessing its nation wide, hopefully someone can verify that. :)

Also this is my first post, so if its already on here or I've done anything wrong, just let me know. :)

From comments a little more to add: it was on all the flavours that i could see, which were orange, elderflower and lemon, and one other, but i cant remember it :P

and thanks to xJayJayx89: this is a discontinued line, so get it cheap while you can!

They used to be around 3 for £1 so 20p is a really good price. That's one of my locals too - might see you around.

So many people with so many worries
Puts my pathetic marital issues into perspective

    Morning all

Another miserable looking day today with more thick pea soup fog.
Just done the quiz and second (from bottom:eek::eek:) so all good, think i may need to go back to school.

Its my mummies birthday today so wll be going down to cornwall to surprise her - laden with goodies from Mr T, as well as WHSmith gift cards, and some home made cupcakes as well as lots of other bits and pieces. can't wait to see her, haven't seen her since november - normally see her at least once a month but with everything going on with FIL just doing day to day things takes effort - let alone trying to go cross country down to cornwall and back within 5 hours.

Hope you all have a great day as well and will catch up with you all later xxx

I'll keep you informed if need be ;);)
