Re Tescos self scanners In my local there is a new hand written sign beside the scanner saying please return goods and not leave them here after scanning if customers persist in leaving goods scanned the scanner may get withdrawn (words to the effect) I hope our members take heed if appropriate it could happen to all the stores

Meant to say I heard a very interesting conversation yesterday between 2 CS ladies. Along the lines of Team something or other had been sent an email to say that change over days for prices were going to be scattered during the week for different depts, like frozen, chilled ect. This was because T's were having to give too many refunds as when change over day happened on the same day usually Tue/Wed it was too much work and too many mistakes were being made;)

Last on the quiz, but my screen got stuck so the time was too long:eek:Just worked out how to stop my screen switching off on this lappie:oIt kept shutting down totally after 15 minutes so I had to log on every time I wanted to check the thread if I was doing other things, now I've set it to never shut down:T:TThat's a major achievement for me because DS is at school and usually he helps me:o

Fk- i think that the pictures you show us are stunning! Mine is only a little sony cybershot point and shoot job but i am learning with it all the time, and have managed to take some lovely pictures with it (well, in my mind anyway!)

Am hoping that i will be able to get out in the garden this week for some bird pics, we get a lot of birds in the garden but they dont tend to stay very long once they get wind of my little feline friend!

Dont put your pics down, i think that you have a natural eye for what makes a good pic :-)

Thank you, and thank you all for your lovely comments. I'm quite taken aback really. You guys are too nice by half! :)

Bird pics are soooo hard! There were 3 marsh harriers soaring high above one of the fields yesterday but my best attempt wasn't even in focus and lots of the frames I missed the bird altogether lol. I got a shot of a flock of oyster catchers taking off but the light was fading very fast and with the fast shutter speed it was rather grainy. I'll edit this post and inset the pic so you can see in a few mins. Shame as it had potential of being nice.....but didn't quite make it! I have loooooots of those pics! :D

Popped in after the school run for some emergency wrapping paper (must get more organised!) - expecting to pay over the odds as it was an Express. SEL £1.09, scanned 27p. Dark blue with lots of footballs all over and stars, footballs ringed with the words "Happy Birthday". 2 sheets and 2 tags.
  • Morning everyone.
