Good evening all and thanks for the new thread WestIsBest.

I see almost everyone has moved in but its nice to see some space left for those who are always at the coos tail (like me for one:rotfl:)

Evening mharzuk, we were wondering where you had got to. ;)

You seem to have forgotton to include the youtube link ;) :rotfl::rotfl:

I noticed something on the self service tills today that I've never seen before.

You know the small board you usually see by the kiosks with the laws about buying alcohol/lottery/cigarettes etc and the bit about 'if things dont add up' well that was on the SS tills today in sticker form. Have they always been there and I've just never noticed them before??

Because that would make their arguement about not get DTD on self services tills a load of twaddle (which I know it is anyways ;) ) but if this is on all of them, it would be nice if someone got given that excuse then they could put this out to them! ;)

So that's my random question for the day, has anyone else noticed this or have I just been going round with my eyes shut?! :rotfl:

I have seen exactly the same in my North West store, the board is covered with sticky tape, and the CS was adamant the DTD was not paid out on the batteries. I rang HO who said it was so went back, but a manager gave me DTD on her discretion! Is DTD to end?

Thanks Tricia that is what I thought but I only got £15.98 the young lad either couldn't do simple maths he just kept saying but you got 2 sets free I did try and state my case but got nowhere

I found some on BOGOF and they went through full price at £19.96 instead of £9.98 so I got twice the difference, in this case £19.96. Got DTD without even having to prompt.

It sounds like he was trying to do you out of your rightful DTD, I would fire off a quick e-mail to H.O if I were you, hth.

I always go for either half price or bogof DTDs then it's easy for them to work out and you get it for free!:j And sometimes I find items that scan at 8x the SEL...:D

Perhaps someone a bit more savvy could point you in right direction but that time was before my OH liked it and the number came up in the bottle of beer on the facebook link after her put in his details. HTHs

I think the stats you are showing is for the whole of San Miguel not for liking the new one on their page.

Tinyshoes that's right it's the big reveal page you need Tricia and now it says they have 2500 likes...hope it's all MSE!!

guess who's getting up early in the morning to be at T for when they open????

£1 sale. Me. Clothes. Clubcard vouchers that need to be used. Need I say more?!

OK, for those of us with 24 hour T's, what time would you say the sale stuff will be out? Is 6am too early? :o

Did you all hear on the news earlier that a lot of adults are not good at basic maths.

I think the boffins should watch us during a visit to Mr T. Sprinting around the shop whilst working out the difference between the SEL and ASDA price, getting the total to come to exactly £40 and at the same time matching coupons and vouchers to products, not to mention the mental capacity to remember every 1p item that has ever shown up on a clip strip in the last year :D

Never mind olympics for glitching I think we should get a degree or something ;)

I dont know a lot about this stuff except what i read from these guys but if it was BOGOF then you paid twice the price so twice the price should be returned.

If you got JTD then they just gave you the BOGOF deal so you got 2 packs for price of one.

What an @rse lol should have told him to go back to school

I would have made more of it but DD was giving me that look of oh no Mums lost the plot again please shut up an lets go.

Its my age, takes longer to get my big fat bum out of a comfy chair than it does to walk the length of the power aisle in my local Mr T's :rotfl:
