A useful purchase in Smiths if you are struggling to spend your giftcards (Blondy!) their stamps are 5% off so I got "a few"/ emptied their drawer.
Had "disagreement" with trout that they were 5% off, no she says stamps cost the same wherever you buy them and that's that.
She has only worked there about 30 years (think a slimmer Susan Boyle type but less glamorous) but stamps are most definitely 5% off in there. A dull purchase I know but useful and most importantly FREE!
Giftcard deal is allegedly running until Mother's Day , has anyone tried it in the last couple of days?

Feel v.sorry for the OP but the T's and C's are quite restrictive!

I popped in to my local WH Smith earlier to try the gift card glitch but as I was going upstairs to the card section I noticed posters on the wall advertising it. The first line, in bold, in the T's & C's stated that WH Smith gift cards couldn't be used to purchase WH Smith gift cards so I gave up at that point.:(0 -

Yeah, that's the new "improved" rules. My store had the new posters up on Wednesday, so my attempt to go back for more was scuppered. I got £49.odd gift card for £11.75 outlay so I'm not complaining. Going to see if D/Dee whs have cottoned on yet tomorrow.
Spent some of my gift cards yesterday and didn't get the £5 off £12 spend that others seem to be getting. I did get a 20% off anything one though which could be better if you're spending more than £25 or less than £7.
It's only a game
