    :(
  • Just got in from LaLa..ing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Did not do 4 stores just the one
Managed 40 TPO still loads left at front of store top shelf with sandwiches etc, also managed to bag £62 of duracell batteries from toy aisle which still had B1G1F offer on. Tempted to get more as my DH metal detects and goes through masses of these, just did not want to take the mick.
Store was empty of anything else, searched and searched, they did have quite a few dressing gowns at £1 which I left for anyone who needs them ;)
This was the Laneli store, West is best this might be useful for you, as I know your not far from there :D

Just had a quick look at SSM before I rush to make dinner.

I had 3 extra unfinished stickers last night which have gone. It now says 49/49 but I have 2 showing as coming soon. The are Busy Bee and Top Contributor. Both are showing as 100% and are also in the main list of completed stickers. The contributor one is the Goody Bag which is Redeemed. Busy Bee is the L2S £15 which is also Redeemed.

I'm easy confused but this is tipping me over the edge!

I hope I'm the first to post this, but you may have to be patient while I explain lol!

New deal I got today , bear with me because it's better than it looks.

Spend £5 instore and get a £15 giftcard for £10.

Not quite as good as the previous one I know but I used a giftcard to spend the £5 and then bought the next giftcard. I did pay cash for it but thinking quickly I then used the new £15 giftcard to spend another £5 then paid for the next £15 giftcard with the remainder of the first giftcard, much like what we were doing before.

It did say on the T's and C's poster that you can't buy giftcards with giftcards but it went through the till fine and I wasn't trouted.

It works very much the same as the other deal but instead of getting a greeting card and the "change" you get £5 worth of stuff each time instead, assuming you A) spend the next £5 with your new giftcard and B) are able to buy your new £15 card with your £10 "change".

Worth bearing in mind that even with the last deal you weren't supposed to buy giftcards with giftcards and that was the only way that deal worked to our advantage.

The initial spend this time is less too even if you pay the £5 cash but better if you use a GC you already have!

    So it works like this

Spend £5+ on anything , pay however you like.

Then you are able to buy a £15 GC for £10, if you are lucky you can pay for it with an old GC.

Assuming you paid for all this with your old £15 GC you now have whatever you spent the first £5 on and you still have a £15 GC. Then repeat etc etc!

Of course it depends if they let you buy GC's with GC's but then they weren't supposed to let us do it before...;)

I will also say - I got this in one store then went to another and it wasn't available:eek: so I think it must be brand new...don't shoot the messenger if it's not up in your store yet! It's on blue posters around the back of the store, hardly well advertised.

    HTH!

    :T:T:T:T:T

well done smart1e, thanks for the heads up and enjoy your tco's :D

Totally OT but my little science boffin treasure has arrived back after trading in all his wii stuff for an xbox.
He wants to subscribe to xbox live and I'm just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any deals that are on offer at the mo. He's convinced his friend is on a quid a month contract but I can only find that for the first month or two then it shoots up.
Any pointers would be much appreciated.

You usually have to wait for this offer to appear on your dashboard, he will get his first month free anyway when he makes an account. After that it is either bite the bullet and pay full whack or hold off and see if they put the £1 offer on your dashboard. It usually take 3 or 4 days for it to appear.
