Hi Fudge, glad the bans been lifted,
can imagine smug faced Fudge strolling round store
1p items @ doing a fudge 2nded
Thanks fq, won't be going back till I have my apology in writing though, to pop in my handbag along with my JTD vouchers that are burning a hole in my inbox
Further call from HO, promised full explanation by 12 on Mon.
Oh and if I haven't already sent promised e-mail, would i mind waiting till after I have heard back from them before I send it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here

I was told today "We don't take those" when I handed over a JTD voucher!!
Have got this the few times I've used them. I usually ask them to check with the till supervisor as it was the DTD ones that were pulled and these ones are JTD ones that I printed out a day ago for shopping I bought the day before that.
The first time it happened they saved the sale and took me to CS so they could phone the manager, who then phoned HO to see if they were still accepting them  You would think that the manager would know company policy and promotions but as we all know very few know as much as we as a group do :rotfl:SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

I hope I'm the first to post this, but you may have to be patient while I explain lol!
New deal I got today , bear with me because it's better than it looks.
Spend £5 instore and get a £15 giftcard for £10.
Not quite as good as the previous one I know but I used a giftcard to spend the £5 and then bought the next giftcard. I did pay cash for it but thinking quickly I then used the new £15 giftcard to spend another £5 then paid for the next £15 giftcard with the remainder of the first giftcard, much like what we were doing before.
It did say on the T's and C's poster that you can't buy giftcards with giftcards but it went through the till fine and I wasn't trouted.
It works very much the same as the other deal but instead of getting a greeting card and the "change" you get £5 worth of stuff each time instead, assuming you A) spend the next £5 with your new giftcard andare able to buy your new £15 card with your £10 "change".
Worth bearing in mind that even with the last deal you weren't supposed to buy giftcards with giftcards and that was the only way that deal worked to our advantage.
The initial spend this time is less too even if you pay the £5 cash but better if you use a GC you already have!
So it works like this
Spend £5+ on anything , pay however you like.
Then you are able to buy a £15 GC for £10, if you are lucky you can pay for it with an old GC.
Assuming you paid for all this with your old £15 GC you now have whatever you spent the first £5 on and you still have a £15 GC. Then repeat etc etc!
Of course it depends if they let you buy GC's with GC's but then they weren't supposed to let us do it before...;)
I will also say - I got this in one store then went to another and it wasn't available:eek: so I think it must be brand new...don't shoot the messenger if it's not up in your store yet! It's on blue posters around the back of the store, hardly well advertised.
HTH!

Whoops: One or more of your posts have been removed from Mission Control due to being reported by the community and moderated as spam. Please check our house rules for guidance.
Wonder what prize I'm going to lose .....hope it's the red letter day...I'll never use that
AFAIK I've not posted ANY spam, but it could be where I answered someones post who recommended something as being good for crow's feet and I replied that I'm sure it is but have you ever tried to catch a crow......that's not that bad though is it :rotfl:
I think they are going through the to do list and to be fair, some of mine were a bit rubbish :rotfl:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

I agree that it looks like they are just trying to wriggle out of giving the prizes but on the other hand, new prizes have been released yesterday and today.
I think they had a problem with certain people having a large number of prizes and the vast majority (anyone who didn't stay up til late on that Friday night) having nothing.
Maybe they are honouring the prizes but want them spread out amongst a larger number of people. If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -
Not sure if it's been posted but local stores seem to be getting rid of specific J20 and Britvic 55. The packs of 4 bottles are £1.73 and I've seen the following:
Britvic 55 - Apple, Raspberry & Cranberry (very nice with a naughty splash of vodka in the bottle)
[STRIKE]Britvic 55[/STRIKE] J20 - White grape & Kiwi
J20 - Apple & Raspberry
J20 - Apple & Blueberry
Still can't understand why some stores price things differently. Extra yesterday had the Mulled Wine air freshener spray for 30p. Today a superstore (that's a laugh in itself) was charging £1.22. Found a nice tall bloke to fetch a mulled wine Freshmatic mini off the top shelf. Didn't have the heart to ask him to fetch another but he offered! There are still nice men out there0 -
hi everyone
:jmy goodie bag is showing as redeemed on SSM:j

Got a golden today on 4 lots of batteries0

afternoon Elite!
glad to see things are getting sorted for fudge2 :T
and with all the talk about SSM I have to confess: I didn't bother with it!:eek::eek: I can't justify another time consuming 'hobby'and I'm pretty well stocked up anyway
Was just slightly jel of the l2s vouchers but I see you're not getting them
(sorry, joking of course and hope everyone will receive them soon :A)
Now if someone has some time or useful info I'd be very grateful:
I saw a deal on grabbit this morning for the 55quid pp 2 nights stay in some place in Midlands(?) with two dinners, wine and buffet breakfast... Sounds good to me and wanted to book it for me and bf but the dates I wanted are excluded from the offerThe only time we could do is 6-8 April(the Easter weekend) and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a good website for those kind of deals or knows a beautiful(but MSE) place worth a visit?
I'd say the budget would be 100 quid pp and I'd like 2 nights stay say 3-4 hours drive from London(with plenty of Ts on the way;)) TIA0
