Is the Tesco price check still working?

I have entered my details recently and they always seem to find the items that match or are lower than ASDAs price.

Example I bought a Dettol No touch from Tesco recently, entered my details, and next day email arrived to say that the item could not be found. Despite the fact I saw it the same day on my ASDA shelf. What's going on?
Am I being cynical in thinking that they are deliberatley trying to avoid giving out any coupons?

So you've not had any cancelled and are probably therefore a "valid" person (just trying to "second guess" SSM criteria for this).
To shoot down in flames my fledgling theory we need someone who satisfies these criteria, has only posted real tips that are on topic, but has had rewards cancelled. If we find any then it must be that SSM have bitten off more than they can chew and are just trying to wriggle out and are making the rules up as they go along( as of course they probably can)

    Hi Artha

Think I may satisfy your criteria but who knows really what the criteria are.

Usual FB account. Exisitng SSM member. Currently signed up to one of their trials. I think my to do list entries were valid and on topic - they weren't silly, maybe a bit lightweight, but all things I would at some point need to remind myself to do (brain like a sieve).

I have the £10 lts and the £15 lts, the £25 rld and the goodie bag all redeemed, have had the to-do list years supply of household products removed because one or more posts deemed spam or inappropriate. All others still "processing".

I think that is the SSM get out clause - "deemed spam or inappropriate" is a subjective criteria - how could it be measured?

Think it has all gone wrong somewhere for SSM and instead of doing the right thing and honouring the awards, they are trying to wriggle out - pretty sure they'll succeed but as PR goes, whole thing is a disaster as so many peeps are disgruntled. Not very impressive really and I think they have shot themselves in the foot.

    To answer your questions..

Ive been on facebook for about 8 years (ish)??
Its done in my own name, my genuine name.
Im a member or SSM, Ive done trials with SSM.

Ive had 2 emails from them today...

1st one, a reply from my question yesterday as to why they have removed my "to do" sticker? This was their answer...

I had genuine "to do" list, not anything rude or bad, just ordinary things...

That came at 9.40 this morning...

Then... at 12.15 I got this....

Well done, youve unlocked a sticker..

Well done, lots to do sticker is yours!!!!!!!

But no sign of any prize or MOC... nothing...

But if you check your stickers, it says on the bottom, "More stickers to come"..

    Confused.com springs to mind!!!!

Talking of confused.com. Yesterday I had another 5 stickers made available to me. I got 2 of these with the remaining ones being 'the chosen one' and the 2 for the to do lists and ticking them all.
3 times I had the new sticker box pop up on my screen (but doesn't load properly so never know what it's for) so went into my rewards to find i have been awarded £25 and £50 LTS vouchers. I didn't do anything to get these and they are not on my sticker list.
I presumed that as people had theirs rejected, that ssm were perhaps going through the other users to see who would have met the ctiteria and restrospectively rewarding them.

Today I go to my stickers and the 2 new ones for the to do list (that i was partway through completing) have now completely dissapeared and I now have a new section for stickers coming soon, which shows the 'busy bee' sticker, despite the fact that I already have this sticker.
It now shows that I have 46 of 46 stickers. I have checked and my 2 LTS stickers are still unclaimed under my rewards.

I do use my genuine FB acct, that being one in my MSE name, but also the only one I have and therefore my genuine one none the less. I have never had one under my actual name, as didn't want one or want people contacting me, i only have a FB acct for competitions and vouchers and nothing else.

So don't know what ssm are up to, but if anyone has any ideas?!!

Oh and all my tips were genuine. My to do list was things I actually needed to do and they were not just ticked off straight away, but only ticked once I had, had the time to actually do them.

The acid test will be to find someone who has actually had the years supply of goodies redeemed rather than removed. I am inclined to think there isn't a redeemed winner of that award out there, but would love to be proved wrong......
