    Well done your son :T:T

Perhaps he'd like to give mine some tips!
I had an academic tutoring evening last night and before I went my son told me that he'd had a real telling off in Science yesterday for not taking it seriously enough.
He swore to me though that he thought he was giving the correct answer.

The question was "Name a state where there is a high level of Kinetic energy"
    The correct answer was Nitrogen
    My son's answer was..........

    California :o

:rotfl:Sounds just like my son - so sharp he'll cut himself. Was he trying to be funny, or just trying to find an answer? Bless him. I got a phone call from the Science teacher the other day  after DS got a telling off and was too clever with his replies!DS is nearly 13 and we are just beginning to take a few deep breaths, if you know what I mean!!! I really feel for him though as DD (15) seems to think she is his Mummy and loves to keep him on the straight and narrow - hilarious - unless you're him!

    OEP for comparison only ;)

Back to SSM - I had all but 4 stickers on the first night, the next 3 being the Saturday and then the last one a week or so ago (the seemingly impossible one whose name I've forgotten). I only have one FB account (I'm a good girl me!) but never been on SSM before that night.

And now for Royal Mail - I've only been asked to post in a postbox and a post office. The post box isn't too bad as it's on the main road so I can tie it in with a Ts trip (guess where I'm going later?) but the post office one isn't as easy so I park in Asda, pay my £1 then go wombling through the car park which is the tidiest car park I've ever seen then a quick nosey in store.

Anyone noticed whether there is any trend to losing vouchers? Noticed that there are a lot of people on SSM with no picture, odd names, no history as FB users etc. Must raise questions with SSM. How many people using genuine names, pics and long term FB use have had rewards removed when they are sure that posts are genuine honest tips and on topic?

My account is like you describe, no picture etc (but is my only fb account) - I have had £10 and £15 l2s, £25 red letter day and a goodie bag all redeemed, still waiting on others but I have posted sensible (I think) tips and didn't like anything that was off topic, or like me.
They might finish moderating them by christmas:) They seem to be taking everyone years supply away so expect mine to go soon.

No he genuinely thought he'd got it right because he'd watched some Bond film with his dad the other night and it mentioned Silicon Valley :rotfl:

He does have a wicked sense of humour though....and I did have to get him to swear he wasn't winding the teacher up....but no he thought it was California!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

A very quick check in from me.
Have been lurking the last few pages and wanted to thank you all for your support and apologise if any 1p chocs have now been pulled

I have received another call back today and apparently the ban has been lifted and I am now free to enter any t's.
Little bit more to it than that and still waiting for another call back and my proper apology in writing, so we'll see

Am off now for a bit to cut up my clubcard whilst deciding which choc to have next, but will check in again later xxxx

Oh and huge thanks Purdita, they made interesting reading xx

Just a quickie. I also got the large chicken on offer at £2/kg in last nights delivery and it was labelled at £4 kg on the chicken and charged accordingly. On the invoice it said unit price 2.00. A quick call to cs, lots of apologies and refunded the full amount, result free chicken! Hth x
  • Caz, your egg looks yummy! Can't wait for mine to arrive though not sure how many Weight Watchers pro-points it will total
Good job I do a lot of exercise pounding the streets (aisles) of Mr T's!

On a different note, could someone advise me about how to get on the quiz? Clicked on the list on page 1 and it says something about an administrators password. Do I need to PM Snap-ant? TIA
