Mrs Bartolozzi Personally I would see what HO say on the phone to you first. Then tell them what a horrendous situation you were put in when the staff treated you so badly. Tell them you overheard them talking about you and that you just cant face this kind of ridicule for something so obivously not your fault.If you feel upset and tearful dont hold back. I would imagine they would offer a gift card so you dont have to face the ordeal of going back in and re-training is definitely required. Chin up!

B, stand your ground. HO have national policies put in place for a reason. If HO ask you to go back to get the cash, then do. The shoddy CS and even shoddier manager have prob had a good telling off. So be brave and hold your head up high, you are in the right. Be brave x

Czerniacha, that's what I was thinking. I don't want to be banned and I really don't feel like fighting. Maybe I'm just needing my tea to settle my stomach, but I wish I'd not phoned HO and just accepted the card. I know that's what the shyster managers want, but I'm not feeling very brave right now.
If Ho want me to go in I'm going to mention the fact it's about 34 miles round trip (google maps says it's 17 miles from my postcode to store). I'm actually shocked at the distance!
