Hi everyone, its been a long time. The house move went well, although we have no internet and wont be connected until early april ... I hope I havent missed much!!
Anyway I have to be quick but my mum who works for Mr T was asked to do overtime tomorrow as they are having a £1 mega sale, she didnt know what would be included but my guess is clothes and shoes. She works in Plym0uth if anyone is out and about it maybe worth enquiring and doing some digging to see if this is correct.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -

I got told the same thing (think mine was a Persil voucher). Oh I took great glee last week walking up to the TIT (Trout In Training) that had gone running off to dob me in to his manager and waving a pile of coupons. My first words were "don't worry, they're all Safe Coupons". Don't think he was too impressed :rotfl:
I wish all the stores followed the same policy. Most of my local stores take internet coupons without issue. Mind you that same store is the one that refuses DTD for every reason under the sun. I had an argument with their electrical bloke as I was overcharged £10 on a TV. He said I had the wrong one as it was the older model that was cheaper. He then said with a smirk that they had loads of the old ones in the warehouse and would I like one. I had a good chuckle when he came back to say that the computer systems had the old & new one down with the same reference (thus proving my point that how was I meant to know the difference) so they only had the new ones but they still wouldn't honour the £10. Fine, I took the TV back to another store who didn't query the £5 off electricals till spit nor the £5 MOC from the paper nor did they remove the CC points so a £10 profit plus I found a better spec TV cheaper on the Direct site and used a voucher code to get money off. There's more than one way to skin a cat!0 -

You know the small board you usually see by the kiosks with the laws about buying alcohol/lottery/cigarettes etc and the bit about 'if things dont add up' well that was on the SS tills today in sticker form. Have they always been there and I've just never noticed them before??
Because that would make their arguement about not get DTD on self services tills a load of twaddle (which I know it is anyways) but if this is on all of them, it would be nice if someone got given that excuse then they could put this out to them!
So that's my random question for the day, has anyone else noticed this or have I just been going round with my eyes shut?! :rotfl:
Yes and yes
Had an [STRIKE]argument[/STRIKE] discussion with a trout for that very reason, "If it doesn't apply to SS tills, why are they stickered like that?". Cue tumbleweed. Then she STILL wouldn't cough up. HO did though, and said trout would get some "retraining".:T:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -
MrsB - you were hurt, humiliated and you've also lost money on petrol so tell HO you won't be going back to that store given the treatment you've received.0

Thanks caz, that's the sort of thing I was looking for in words.
I do feel hurt, I'm still a bit shaken, and unless they invite me in for some apology or something and it's mandatory I'm not going back in for a while!
I will lose money on diesel if I have to go back - it's about 12 miles each way!
