Tesco 11+ Elite (and me) H.O. for glitches and gossip

just out the bath and catching up, so apologies if i'm repeating anyone....
my sis suffered during her teens and after trying and failing with a variety of drugs and creams, her Dr recommended using a UV lamp...like a facial sunbed. Its not as bad as it might seem (I dont think)...in that you're not using it for such a long time that you get a tan (and ruining your skin)....its that Vitamin D from the sun is vital to our health and our skin etc...so giving the skin a little extra help if it needs it, seems to be the idea.
If I remember rightly, she only used to use hers about 5-10 mins a day, sometimes only every other day, and her skin cleared up quicker than using any other treatment. It might not work for everyone, but worth your son checking with his GP?

Evening!
Just out of interest, did anyone manage to get any crunchy nut corn flakes, those 750g that are on half price (finishes today)?? Only when I went to the nearest big tesco store, on 2 occasions the shelf was bare! Asked at instore customer services and was almost 'fobbed' off, they said there hasnt been a delivery! Is it worth an email to their head office customer services?-as feel very hard done by!
ahem yes I got 1 or [STRIKE]2[/STRIKE] 10 boxes :eek::eek::eek:
and also the weetos0 -

ha well done there! It was a disgrace in my local Tesco's, there was no special offer sheld for the crunchy nut, just the normal shelf. They'd quite clearly underestimated the popularity of the offer!0 -

But has anyone here got recommendation for 18yr DS who suffers with acne, not to bad these days no major breakouts (OMG sorry if anyone eating!) but I was thinking of getting him a facial treatment at a salon, not sure what to look for but would be great if anyone here has experience.
He has done all the creams and the antibiotics from GP but would be nice to try improve his complection now the acne has stopped being so bad. He uses bio oil regularly and sticks with a face wash found through trial and error.

The Desert collection had been put with the Easter stuff. No SEL made me check them.

You know what I mean, found the choccies and the adrenalin started to kick in and the butterflies started, as I scanned 22, 1p things trying to look nonchalant;):rotfl:DH will go potty if I say I'm going back out, especially as I was moaning 5 minutes ago that I'm shattered.
Right decision made, I've got to work tomorrow so am going to go tomorrow evening:cool:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
have you ried cleansers with salicylic (sp) acid in and washing his face with oatmeal
...
Salicylic acid 2%, glycolic acid 5-8% and benzoyl peroxide 10%( get micromilled because regular BP molecules are too big to penetrate the skin). First wash with Salicylic (removes dirt and oil). Second was with glycolic acid (removes dead skin cells). Third treat with thin layer of benzoyl peroxide to kill bateria. Don't be cheap and try to buy a product with both Salicylic acid and glycolic acid. The acids counteract and causes them to be less effective! << (found this online)
edit: loads of posts say about the salicyclic thing so might be worth a goYou can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in
