I couldn't agree more - I know some people don't like to deliberately (cough) do a DTD but I bet in most cases where the OOD SEL has been left many, many people have bought that item among other shopping and not noticed the overcharge. By claiming your DTD you are effectively stopping that happening anymore as long as they take the SEL away.
I had 2 recently that were 8 times the sel price  but among other shopping most people probably wouldn't have noticed.
Good news for me though...;););) when I cleared the shelf!:DWhat gets me is when a product is the same price for ages, then the pack happens to come with a 'Free' item, which isn't 'Free' at all because they increase the price, and when the 'Free' item is removed after a while the price is reduced again. How can it be free if it costs MORE!! Very annoying.
Another one is where an item is one price, like £2.85, and then a 2 for x deal on all similar items starts, like 2 for £6 and the price of one is bumped up! They do it on my lager, very annoying! Most of the time I pay £2.85 for 4 but when the deal is on I am forced to pay £3.50! Annoying!
@ Freddiesmum.. Really I cannot see how your friend is being a b****!!!!!.. Obviously she's missing you. If you cried over this text I think you're a little over sensitive, she's making strides here to patch things up. Don't lose a friend over some small misunderstanding..0 -

However they have never asked for my address or name, if they did then I would surely complain to HO!
They don't need to, they know it anyway if you pay by card and use your CC.0 -
Freddie's mum,
Try not to take it to heart re your friend. You are obviously both hurt over what happened and want to protect your sons. I think it would be good for you both to meet up, perhaps at the play group as your children can play with others and it won't be so intense for you two. Fall outs happen - and people do "dump" friends but only see that as a last resort. I'm a firm believer that people come into your life for a reason, they may only be a friend for 6 months or even 6 years but you should cherish all friendships. Do what your heart is telling you.Tiger

freddiesmum09 - I can see why you're angry as it's your child and obviously you are going to be fiercely protective.
Taking the children out of the equation, it seems like she is trying to make amends without actually apologising or taking responsibility for her actions. I have been in these situations and you should go with your gut feeling, which it seems is to cut off contact.
There is no excuse for the way she spoke about your son, you just don't do that, personally I would say there's no going back, once trust is lost, it's lost.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
