If you look and I think you might have missed it fudge did post after that she didnt mean to offend anyone:(
Nikkilala, well done for putting your peacekeeper hat on.. tricia, I agree with nikki that Fudge didn't mean to offend in anyway. we are all a friendly bunch on here as you know and there is no way that anybody would say something that would purposely hurt someone's feelings. Fudge just had a rant about the guidelines relating to prescription critera. sorry for your dad's illness and subsequent suffering. ((Hugs)) to you xx

    Hi everyone!
Have resorted to lurking after not going to T's on the weekend!
I really need to get myself in gear as I seriously am falling back on the T's front!

I went into the Metro yesterday and came home emptyhanded even though I had 2x £1.XX jtd's to use!

My list for my next trips:
    2x GF Stonebaked thin crust pizzas-£5.34/£2-in Asda-Use £1 Price drop voucher-£4.34 and JTD-£3.34-making them 50p each(if I can't find the 100% extra free ones!;)):j

    10x Lenor-£10-use SSM vouchers-FREE:j

2x Cathedral city £3.98 BOGOF and 1x value cheese-54p-use 2x Price flop vouchers-£2.52 for all this cheese! ("Mmmmmm, Cheeeeeese Gromit, cheeeese!":o):j
Galaxy Promises if I can find some...

I will try to hunt down Duracel DTD's:A

Can anyone remember the dishwasher tabs DTD, I saw a SEL for £10.50 on a pack of Finsh but can't remember which but it had a star in the corner.

Also, did anyone else get DTD on the Jelly tots I mentioned on the weekend? Hope someone did!:A

Also, I'm hooked on Cadbury's Hot Caramel pudding! :DPlease can someone share a cheaper alternative?

    TIA:)

Diabetis is a serious ilness you know
My dad got free meds for his diabetis because if he had to pay £7.20 for each prescription he'd be in perminent debt. so much other stuff can happen to your body because of it
    psoriuses (sp)
    angina
    strokes
    losing limbs

    I find this really offensive.
i lost my dad 24th november 2009 when i was just 19 and he was 48
    far too young to die!!!

In my life ive had to stand there and watch my dads face fall to one side whilst hes having a stroke in front of me several times
watch him have angina attack after angina attack
watch his whole hands/legs seeze up and him not be able to move

in fact ive spent my life slowly watching my dad die in front of me until just after his 48th birthday he has to have his foot removed, then caught ceedif from the filthy hospitals, then have his whole leg removed, then catch mrsa then watch him die

So sorry but i would have rather had to pay for all his prescriptions and still have him here than get free ones but still lose him

    its just money, moneys nothing

I'm sorry for what happened to your Father but I feel that you are perhaps over-reacting(understanably so given your family hisory) to what was an innocent post. I'm sure Fudge was not moaning about diabetics getting free prescriptions, just pointing out that her condition is similar in that her body is not producing a vital substance either and feeling that therre is little logic in how the assessments are made. There is no suggestion that diabetics shouldn't get free prescriptions - clearly their need is unquestionable.
