  • Afternoon everyone...
Sorry I have not been on to catch up properly.. Had a hectic couple of days.
Had my birthday meal sunday night, felt pretty rough but managed to make it and keep dinner down :o
OH stayed in bed all day so was pretty annoyed he didnt even make an effort to get up and showered to see how he felt but hey ho.. wasn't in the mood to fight so just went by myself..
Had a good night but just felt really down and depressed by the end of it.. went home, cried, cried and cried some more.. think I just needed to get it all out. OH and I had an arguement and didnt speak all night/the next morning.
I took DS to his play class in the morning (havent been for 2 wks as I fell out with my friend there and didn't want to bump into her) however thought, if I don't go out now its going to be a bad day... (my so called friend never turned up thank god).... Anyway we went and DS had a great time, he was really good and really enjoyed himself which cheered me up :) Afterwalds we went to cash in my bday cheques at the bank, and then popped into the chairty shop and found 2 boxes of duplo, one was about £25 worth for £3.50, and the other about £35 worth for £5 :T:eek: Was sooo tempted to get both, but there was another lady from the group in the shop at the same time and she was just behind me so I just took one, and she asked if it was ok if she took the other one as she didn't mind me having both, and I said no its fine DS has loads.. So was really chuffed with that.
Also picked up a lovely second hand ELC kitchen/trolley/pots pans etc for £15 on ebay.. The lady also gave us an elc easel for free (they were rich and probably felt sorry for me lol)
DS loves it and has been 'cooking and washing up' all morning..
Anyway the REAAAALLLLY good news is that OH was sat on his BB last night, asked him what he was looking at and he was on NHS alcohol site, and he basically admitted he had a problem with drink and that he was going to try his best to cut down :T:T:T
Now I know its not the end of the road and he isnt 'cured' but I am so glad he can now see that drinking is making him agressive/rude/paranoid and horrible to be around. I have been telling him for about 2 years that his drinking is not healthy so its such a relief for him to finally agree with me.... He is going to start by cutting down from 4 cans to 3... and is going to try the stella with a smaller amount of alcohol (4% I think?)
Think he is going to try and get down to 2 of those eventually and I have said that he needs to eat before he drinks etc as at the moment he is drinking to 'numb the pain' and just ends up making himself feel worse.. and he is convinced alcohol is not helping his mental health and making him paranoid/depressed.
Been spring cleaning this morning and getting the washing done which feels quite refreshing, so going to finish that and chill for the rest of the day.
Will try catch up tonight properly. Sorry I've not been on. Hugs to those that need them x
P.S. got another sanctuary order this morning:o no idea where on earth I am going to put it all  but it was too good a bargain to miss lol :p:D;):rotfl:

Thanks for the new home Westie - love what you've done with the place...

It has been a disappointing week for DTD but got a goodie today.

    Nikon Coolpix S6100

SEL £99.97 but charged £199.97 and got DTD of £199.94 - a total cost of 3p! I think she did me out of 6p but I let it go :)

I'm not sure if I should keep it or get a refund. I don't have a camera so it would be handy but perhaps I could get a refund and buy a cheaper one with some of the money.

Interesting that on .com it is still showing as £99.97 http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-0737.aspx

I saw it earlier in the week in S*nb*ry but they were out of stock so if you are in the area it may be worth popping in to see if they have had any in.

Quoting from a little while back....has anyone else tried this one in the last couple of days please? My local has an SEL of £99.97 but I can't scan the barcode as there isn't one??? There's just a label with the barcode numbers on it on the dummy box. I am too scared to get a big DTD in my local as I use it so often and it's extremely handy but thinking of sending mother dearest off....who's not the most confident of souls bless her! :o

    Heeeeeelp!!

Have an SX425 here and at home and somehow managed to send the san miguel to the wrong printer! It'll be a week before I get to the right printer! Sent it to "sx400 series (copy1)" opposed to "sx400 series" by the looks of it.

Is there any way the print Q can be swapped? I can't believe it won't print it.....the printers are identical.

Will the Q sit on the lappy till its actually shut down (as opposed to just hibernating with the lid shut) and print automatically when I plug it into the right printer next week?

Grrrrr, can't believe I've messed up free beer! :(

Can you open the print queue and pause it? If so go to your printers and set the correct printer as your default printer. Go back to the print queue and resume the print job?

I'm not saying it will work as it might still look for the first printer. When it's paused try right clicking on it and see if there is an option to send it to another printer?
