I just checked what I bought - they were called T southern fried chicken goujons, advertised as £2 a pack and went through as £2 (grrr). B/C 683955 and a 275g pack. So DONT buy these!

I had such a shock this morning. I am expecting a credit to my bank account today and when I looked it said I had 1200 pounds of pending transactions. I know I had no pending transactions so I called them up. Someone has managed to use a cancelled debit card on my account . They spent that amount between 10.30 am yesterday morning and 12.50 am today on 4 insurance policies and a plane ticket. The girl said I could not report them as fraudulent till they actually debit. And she blocked the card.
However this afternoon I called again to ask how someone could use a cancelled card and this cs girl told me I could report the amounts as fraudulent as the companies in question I have never dealt with. She also said whoever it was tried again to use the card again in the early hours for an O2 top up and at a hotel ( for 60p!) but this time they did block it.
She said it should be ok and I should get my money back. Wonder how it happened?
