I have spent most of my day working out my lists to hit T's with later. God what hard work!! If something is not there then that will probably muck me right up.
List 1... no JTD list. Total should be £43.08. After coupons and £5 off £40 moc...total £19.98. Use JTD of £18.03....only £1.95 to pay :j

List 2... Total £40.77. After coupons and £5 moc...total £29.27. Use JTD of £19.06...£10.21 to pay..JTD of £7.56 to come back. Therefore cost is £2.65

List 3...4 x dettol aloe vera + some bananas. Total just over £40. Use last £5 off £40 moc..4 x £3 mocs and 4 x £5 mocs. Total roughly £3.50..JTD of £19.96 to come back.

If my T's have no dettol aloe vera then I will add to list below to use my last £5 off £40 as I also have £2.50 off £10 spend on clothes and my DD is in need of some school shoes anyway.

    List 4... Total £22.65. After coupons...total £14.65...JTD to come back of £8.71.

So I make that cash to pay Total £30.31 and JTD combined used of £37.09. (which are from lenor and stain remover etc, with coupons last week) Then JTD back of £36.23.
The totals of my shopping not including the dettols is roughly £106 all for £30 if it all goes to plan and I am only using 5 of the ssm coupons, as I used most of mine last weekend. Sorry for clogging up thread with this...just I worked so damn hard on it and it's all good food shopping, cheese, fruit, veg..etc and my OH just doesn't appreciate what goes into this money saving lark and noone I know gets as excited as I do about making a great saving. They probably think I'm barmy, but I know where I'd rather keep my money. :)
  • Thanks for the new home Westie - love what you've done with the place...

It has been a disappointing week for DTD but got a goodie today.

    Nikon Coolpix S6100

SEL £99.97 but charged £199.97 and got DTD of £199.94 - a total cost of 3p! I think she did me out of 6p but I let it go :)

I'm not sure if I should keep it or get a refund. I don't have a camera so it would be handy but perhaps I could get a refund and buy a cheaper one with some of the money.

Interesting that on .com it is still showing as £99.97 http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-0737.aspx

I saw it earlier in the week in S*nb*ry but they were out of stock so if you are in the area it may be worth popping in to see if they have had any in.

Confession time :o .I just like reading this thread as everyone is so supportive of others and I am confined to the house most of the time through illness.Dont really have anything to contribute :(
    Goes back to lurkdom.

I just came out of the money saving closet last night too. I am hoping to pass on or just be part of the cheer leading squad for the ones who are amazing at finding the bargains. So don't disappear maybe we could be newbie buddies ! :D

Forgot to say that I must also keep an eye out for the chicken, but with my lists I will probably forget, got too much to think about already. And my OH always wants to go shopping too,he's just been paid, so when we get there we swap..I get car keys to open boot, he gets kids..they go off to dvd's toys and I go off to do all the work...hmmph. Still I suppose it is better, coz if he's with me..he makes me spend more and messes me up. I plan to do the first 2 big lists, then catch up with family and get last 2 smaller lists, with whatever clothes/shoes my DD has found.

You are not alone!! I compiled my list on Tues, double checked it last night via My Supermarket and shopped for it today (and apart from the Dettol hand wash i got everything). My £80 shop is working out at £26 after coupons/vouchers/JTD/DTD :j
