I remember it well, 25 years wow.
Someone in my office was on it and her brand new car is still at the bottom of the channel.....oh its vintage now.
We were all giggling about it in the office until we found out that people had died, how awful( and embarrassing) but we were VERY young (ok, not that young).

    Morning all

My brother had the tickets from the Sun for that sailing but decided not to go at the last minute - thank goodness he didn't...

Did anyone download the Tesco pdf with the current pamphlet offers ? I noticed that 1 of the coupons is different to the actual pamphlet you get instore.

Save £1 when you spend £3 or more on pre packed cooked meats ( pdf)

Save £1 when you spend £4 or more on the hot deli counter ( pamphlet)

I have used the pdf one and it went through fine.

    Warning numpty question:

These are usually price something along the lines of £3 each or 2 for £5 ... if this is still the case can 2 x £1 coupons be used? End result being = £5 - (2 x £1) = £3 (essentially BOGOF)

Right I've still not caught up but just wanted to give an update on my recent knife purchase and thank all who PM'd me ... this thread is unbelievable.

On Sunday I got the large Santoku (£16.99) and Bread Knife (£16.99) along with some other bits to bring my shop to £40.27.

Then I handed a £5 off wys £40 MOC (my last from the Daily Mirror) to bring the total down to £35.27 ... then handed the knife coupons (2 x £12 = £24) total now £11.27 ... and then another batch of coupons for against other purchases (£2.50) ... and paid £8.77 :j

Now I can't take ANY credit for this ... this tactic was passed onto me by another supersavvy MSEr ... you know who you are :D

Today I managed to get 4 AA and 4 AAA battery sets FREE ... DTD £35.76 ... and hopefully £15.02 JTD (Would have been more but I got 3 for 2 Cravendales (for my 2nd kermit backpack)

Again I can't take ANY credit for the batteries ... thanks to the same supersavvy MSEr as above ...

... and to top it all the fact that I'm on my 2nd backpack is all due to another FAB 11+er helping me out. Again "you know who you are" :hello:

Anyhow, I really can't thank you all enough!! Shopping has never been more fun ... and at the same time so stressfull ... cos now I'm afraid to buy anything if I haven't "researched" it first. :rotfl:

Hi dcon , Thick person here :rotfl: the knife coupons at £12 each what are these please ? I am wanting the scissors and chopping board and not seen these £12 coupons :(

    Not sure, I bought 3 packs @ £1 each

Edit : I assume it would be ok as the price would be £6 before the offer kicked in. Although when I bought 2 sets of yoghurts in the same transaction the sa was saying that the coupon was for £3 or over, we just argued until she gave up and put 2 through. lol
    :(

Spend £20 and get 1 knife coupon at the tills in t - you need 5 to redeem for each knife/chopping board etc
But there is a coupon I. The good food mag out last month which is worth 5 knife coupons
This makes the chopping board from £26 down to £7
    Hope this helps xx
