Exactly FREE!!!!
I've been telling my cousin exactly the same ... but she says she only pays pence anyway from the Pound shop and can't see the point of it all. She's a recent lurker and may see this ... so just basically get your printer fixed/seen to and join the club!!! You know who you are!!!
My husband says - we are low on washing up liquid so please find a glitch on it! I tell him that I can't "arrange" glitches!0 -
Sorry only managing to have a quick flick through tonight's posts but incase I forget...in A's I spotted Gales Honey, both set and clear 227g for 50p which sounds reasonable
(we don't eat honey in our household so only going on comparison of other SELs) It's not on T's.com so not sure they sell that size for JTD.
And a couple of favourable JTDs from wombled receipts on Sunday : -
1 x DIET COKE 500 ML £ 1.08 £ 1.00
1 x BUTTERKIST CINEMA SWEET POPCORN 120G £ 1.43 £ 1.00
1 x WALKERS SUNBITES SWEET CHILLI 6PK £ 1.50 * £ 1.00
1 x WALKERS SUNBITESCHEDDAR CHEESE &ONION 6X25G £ 1.50 * £ 1.00
2 x WHITE POTATOES 2.5KG TRAY £ 2.70 £ 2.00
2 x MULLER LIGHT CHEESECAKE STYLE YOGURT 6PK £ 5.00 * £3.00
1 x BLUE DRAGON SWEET CHILLI DIPPING SCE 380G £ 1.55 £ 1.50
1 x RIPEN AT HOME PUNNET NECTARINE £ 1.25 £ 1.00
1 x TESCO BRUSSEL SPROUTS 500G £ 1.00 £ 0.50

When I was in T's this afternoon I spotted this with all the mothers day gifts. It had a £1.75 SEL so I picked one up because that I thought that can't be the right price, fully expecting to get DTD but it went through the till at £1.75.All the other sets ranged from £5 to £8, so it's definately been priced wrongly. It's the sweet mandarin & grapefruit set and the handwash is a huge 500ml with a 250ml indulgent body butter and a sponge thingie. This is in a lovely box with a gold ribbon and would make a lovely pressie for £1.75.
Ooooh I bought one of these at Christmas when some of us managed the 3 for 2/half price gift crossover DTDIt was £7 down to £3.50 so I guess the price was just halved again. A gorgeous set and I'm very surpised at the price considering there's no reason for them to reduce (ie: Xmas branding) Fab find Lala, perfect for pressies :T:T
ETA:Sorry to quote myself, just found it on direct
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.213-7524.aspx
Was £7 down to £3.50, knew it was too cheap at £1.75

Right I've still not caught up but just wanted to give an update on my recent knife purchase and thank all who PM'd me ... this thread is unbelievable.
On Sunday I got the large Santoku (£16.99) and Bread Knife (£16.99) along with some other bits to bring my shop to £40.27.
Then I handed a £5 off wys £40 MOC (my last from the Daily Mirror) to bring the total down to £35.27 ... then handed the knife coupons (2 x £12 = £24) total now £11.27 ... and then another batch of coupons for against other purchases (£2.50) ... and paid £8.77 :j
Now I can't take ANY credit for this ... this tactic was passed onto me by another supersavvy MSEr ... you know who you are
Today I managed to get 4 AA and 4 AAA battery sets FREE ... DTD £35.76 ... and hopefully £15.02 JTD (Would have been more but I got 3 for 2 Cravendales (for my 2nd kermit backpack)
Again I can't take ANY credit for the batteries ... thanks to the same supersavvy MSEr as above ...
... and to top it all the fact that I'm on my 2nd backpack is all due to another FAB 11+er helping me out. Again "you know who you are" :hello:
Anyhow, I really can't thank you all enough!! Shopping has never been more fun ... and at the same time so stressfull ... cos now I'm afraid to buy anything if I haven't "researched" it first. :rotfl:

Heeeeeelp!!
Have an SX425 here and at home and somehow managed to send the san miguel to the wrong printer! It'll be a week before I get to the right printer! Sent it to "sx400 series (copy1)" opposed to "sx400 series" by the looks of it.
Is there any way the print Q can be swapped? I can't believe it won't print it.....the printers are identical.
Will the Q sit on the lappy till its actually shut down (as opposed to just hibernating with the lid shut) and print automatically when I plug it into the right printer next week?
Grrrrr, can't believe I've messed up free beer!0 -
To make them look ironed, you could always try ironing them
I'll get my coat
My mum bought a duvet set from Next that was meant to be non-iron. She said the same thing - it's the thing that needs ironing the most. My work gave 'us' M&S vouchers for the wedding which we used to buy bed linen. Can't for the life of me remember the name now but it was a lovely cream colour with sateen stripes. The only thing that needs ironed is the pillow cases and that's only if I haven't gotten them out of the machine quick enough. It's not non-iron but I've never once ironed the duvet cover!
LOL ... get behind that sofa!!!0 -
Gonna have to call it a night now....or morning?!!!ChelseaGirl wrote: »I get free prescriptions too.

Gee thanks... :rotfl:
My 'life threatening condition' sounds worse than it is too.
:mad::mad::mad: Gahhh! Don't even get me started on the subject of prescriptions! There are 3 out of 4 of us in my house on more than enough medication to warrant buying 3 x 12 month pre payment certificates at £110 each (ish) every bloomin year. Now it's a fantastic saving don't get me wrong but I really don't understand the logic as to what illnesses are classed as applicable for free medication and those that aren't. I've been taking prednisolone steroids (and about 20 other drugs daily) since I was 5 (now 24) as my body doesn't produce cortisole naturally (which is apparently the criteria for receiving free meds)...however a diabetic will receive insulin free because their body is lacking in it. I know I'm blond but really I see no logic in this whatsoever! My Father has MS and Mum has something like arthritis and both of us are also blood clot sufferers....but for some reason none of this makes us exempt?! MADNESS!SpiralingDown wrote: »Am feeling very upset this evening, just heard through a mutual friend that the guy who's looking after my dogs literally has no money left and had to go and pawn the only thing of value he has left - his wedding ring. JSA have mucked his payments up yet again! They seem to do this every few months on him even though he turns up on time for his appointments, makes me so angry!!!
He won't talk to me about it because I'm paying him to look after my babies and leant him money at Xmas and told him not to pay me it back unless he wins loads on the lottery. He feels he's let everyone down but we explain to him how much he has helped me and my son know our babies are being looked after in a home environment and not cooped up in a kennel for most of the day. He also fosters dogs (should say failed fosterer cause he's kept the ones he took on), he lost his job through 'restructuring' and has felt this way for the past 9 months.
Hopefully he finds the little surprise I left for him this evening, enough food to do the dogs and cats for a couple of weeks, hopefully, along with cleaning stuff. I'll turn up tomorrow with more food for themselves and hopefully it'll tide them over until he gets his JSA sorted yet again!
Awww SpiralingDown that's so incredibly lovely of you :Axx Poor chap, I hope things start looking up for him soon.
Just want to say Hi to Mistic :hello:and the other newbies that have recently joined, you're in for one crazy ride!!
Thank you for all the helpful finds that people have posted tonight, I'm armed with my list for tomorrow

If it goes undetected for a long period of time, then it can lead to a coma, but this is very rare. With the correct medication and regular blood checks, everything should be fine.
Good morning.:)Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
