Wireless PDA Connection Help

I have a pda (Navman PiN 570) that I have bought a wireless LAN card (Safecom SDIO Wireless LAN Card SWLSDI-1100) for so that I can connect via my wireless modem/router at home and use hot spots/wifi whilst out.
I have installed the software on the pda and my home Netgear Wireless Network is shown (along with a neighbours - both secured) available on the pda. However, I cannot log on. Any clues as to what I need to do now?
I have WPA security enabled on my Network and I'm not sure if that's the issue? Maybe the WIFI card does not support WPA but only WEP? Should I try changing security settings to WEP from WPA? What settings do I need to have on the PDA?
Advice gratefully received

WPA maybe the problem it all depends on what security the card you have bought will support, I know the one I bought only supports WEP so I use WEP on my network. hey if anyone wants to spend the time getting on to my wireless network and cracking 128bit WEP then can have everything and they need to get past the local security I have set up on my PC's.0

Yup, same here, I have all my wifi network using a WEP key because one housemate's machine does not accept WPA
