Missold Bank Account?

Someone I know has been about £150 overdrawn on her Halifax account and has been paying a fiver a day because of it. the woman at the bank talked her into it by telling this girl she's get £5 a month (I'm assuming it's a halifax reward account?). Thing is the girl I know doesn't even earn the £1000 a month to trigger the fiver a month reward anyway.
Does she have a case for being missold her bank account?
Any advice appreciated

The £5 a day is because she spent money she didnt have. Not because she was on an account that may not have been right for her. The two things are not linked.
Whilst she doesnt meet the criteria to get the £5, how much is being on that account actually costing her compared to the account she was on previously? i.e. she may not get the £5 but it may not actually be costing anything.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
