Solicitor writing Wills - how long?

A single simple Will should cost around £70-90 and should, even allowing for the fact that solicitors move in perpetual slow motion, take around 14 days. Three months is outrageous.

And check which will you are signing. The solicitor got my Dad to sign Mum's will and Mum to sign Dad's. Luckily we looked through the copies they were given and noticed it.
