Those links look very complicated! Though the memory test one, AVG constantly pops up in a box telling me i dont have enough memory and to close window/browser and restart, been doing this since last november when laptop was reformatted and AVG installed.Though a box used to pop up years ago, in 2009 abt the memory(not AVG) till I turned it off.Laptop Toshiba Satelite L350 170. I am not an expert sorry!

Hi, you're obviously running AVG 2012. Please open the AVG user interface, the GUI will then tell you if any modules are not working, the key ones are the antivirus, linkscanner, email protection, and the anti-rootkit modules.

Run an update too to check its fully uptodate.

If all okay, then I wouldn't worry unless it occurs again, in which case I would do the following:

If any of the above are in error, the usual advice is to uninstall, then download/install again. There is a special AVG remover program if the uninstall fails.

The memory usage module is new to AVG 2012, and can be turned off - pretty useless in my opinion. If I remember, you can turn it off; click on tools, then advanced settings, then appearance, then remove the tick in "display AVG advisor performance notifications"
