Redundancy pay and CSA

There seems to be conflicting advice about redundancy pay and what the CSA expect to be paid out of it.
The directgov website says anything above statuatory redundancy pay is fair game, however other sites are saying that its anything above £30K.
Looking at the amount you get as statuatory redundancy pay the most you could ever get is about £13K as there is a limit on a weeks pay of £430.
In my NHS contract I get a months pay for every year of service which will be about £30k. I pay ex directly not via DEO.
So where can I find a definitive answer?

as far as I am aware you pay CSA based on your taxable income therefore PILON and anything over 30k is brought into the equation. If you have savings over 60k that is also brought into the equation.
When I was made redundant my CSA was put on 0 payment however I am continuing to pay as if I am still employed. I now have a new job and CSA say I will be reassessed once I can provide 2 months pay slips so have to wait till May before getting assessed again. I think it should work out about the same as I was unemployed for 6 weeks in total.
hope this helps
