I NEED a CHEAP CAR INSURANCE for 10 years driving experience and 'No Claim' abroad..

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum here, so excuse me if my question is repeated.
I've been living in Egypt and used to drive for about 11 years starting when I was 18 and never had and accident. I'm settled in the UK since 2009 and been driving since May 2010, but as a second driver on 3 different cars up till now to avoid the high insurance costs.
Finally I had a MB C180 1998cc Auto, and again the car insurance is as a named driver. I'm looking to start my own named insurance but the quotes are no less than £5000 a year :eek:

Although you have the experience, you have no actual "no claim discount" to use.

See if a local broker (not swinton) can get you an introductory discount to reflect your years of experience.

But can you further advise me about Local Brokers? I've never heard about that term in Car Insurance..

Local (to you) "insurance brokers". (Either get a recommendation from friends or check yellow pages to find local brokers).
