I have always been clumsy and have done the getting in the wrong car thing a couple of times. Had a period of time when my mind was wired up stranger than strange, my sisters family was living with me and I only used a desk top pc, we were all in the living room and my nephew got their laptop up to play a game, I flew across the room to stop him as the dvd was playing and somewhere that can never be explained in my mind had made a link that it would not work if the dvd was playing...
Many years ago in the early 80's myself and my now exhusband had a bit of a falling out in the middle of a large shopping centre, he walked off in a huff with his 16 year old brother, I realised after a few moments I didnt know the hell where I was and ran after them, no bra under a strappy top, BOTH b**bs fell out of the top as I was running past the GAS showroom, local meeting point for 20 - 30 punk rockers who clapped their appreciation *so embarrassed* and my ex BIL saw it before my ex husband... I never lived that one down..... Now I look back and smile - since having a mastectomy, I'm super glad that it happened....0 -
Considering I'm one of those people who gets really irritated by people who don't know how to use self service tills... I was quite ill with a bit of a fever but had completely run out of food so had to nip down the road to my local Tesco Express for a few bits. I waited for a self service till as I was feeling awful and didn't want to speak to anyone, I just wanted to get back to bed as fast as possible, so I was getting increasingly upset when none of my shopping would scan... I was waving everything over the flipping basket area waiting for it to beep! Fever-brain had remembered that I normally do something in the basket area upon arrival at the till, but fever-brain had got itself a bit confused and not registered that I hadn't bothered picking a basket up as it felt like too much effort and all my shopping was in my arms, so decided that must be where scanning happens instead. The guy in the queue behind me was so fed up of waiting that he came over and started scanning and bagging my shopping for me! I managed to sniffle out a thank you and shuffled back off to the safety of my bed for the next few days... it was a good month before I went back in that particular branch0

This morning I was running late and quickly sorted the washing and put the machine on. Went out and on return opened the washing machine to find it empty. My first thought was somebody broke in and stole my washing until I saw the full laundry bag next to the washing machine.Doh
Was in the office once when a colleague came in for a disciplinary, just before that we talked about The Apprentice. When the colleague left to go to the meeting everybody wished him good luck what did I say? 'Somebody will be fired.' Unfortunately he was.:hello:0 -
First driving test, extremely nervous. The examiner said 'when I hit the dash with my clipboard I want you to stop as if in an emergency'. 3 minutes later I'd forgotten all about that, he hit the dash, I screamed and let go of the steering wheel. Fail :rotfl:
Too many to remember!0 -

Lmao!
I was in a friends car the other week when a rabbit ran out in the road, I let out 3 piercing screams which scared the !!!! out him and he just said 'Don't do that when you start driving lessons'0 -
I have been reading this thread with tears streaming at some stories, and then today did something silly.
Went to see a rescue rabbit, got the address etc knocked on the door. A nice chap came out and I announced "I have come to see the your rabbit". He looked somewhat bemused and puzzled, said "erm I have not got any rabbits". turned out I should have been at number 23 but had gone to number 32. I was very embarrassed while my hubby and 2 daughters just laughed at me. Couldn't get away from the poor chap quick enough!0 -
I once said "excuse me" to a dog which was sitting in a shop doorway........0

Had to come and report my silliness...
Just went and emptied the washing machine. Was quite glad the spin had finished as it was pretty noisey.
Pulled out the laundry... and half a dozen DVDs in cases!!
I had been tidying up upstairs and had bought the laundry down to put in the washer, and some DVDs to put back on the shelf in the living room.
I obviously decided the DVDs looked a bit grubby, and put the whole lot in the washing machine along with the laundry!
Anyone know if they will still work after a 30 degree wash with vanish powder, washing liquid and softener?
The cases are all lined up on the radiators now drip drying0 -
An unwittingly embarrassing moment ....
Some of DD's friends were round (17yo lads), they were all sitting in the front room playing on the xbox, and all had a glass of coke. My parting shot to them, humorously, as I left the room was 'if anyone spills their drink on my shag pile rug they'd better get on their knees and start sucking'
Seconds later much :rotfl::rotfl: and I realised I should have worded that better0 -
Forgot about this one, my mum sent me into the shop as she waited outside in the car, I was about 8, she gave me a small list.
Got the milk and the bread and then asked the woman behind the counter for some LOOL. A few minutes later she figured out I actually meant 1001 carpet cleaner, I had never heard of it and read it as LOOL.0
