im having so much trouble thinking of what to do for my last few days as a singleton, i just dont know what to do. im getting wed on 1 sept 07 so any ideas would be great, ive got to think of loction,(i live in leicester) then i have to think do i have 1 party for friends 1 for colleges, who we all get on quite well then another for family or one big bash for everyone, my mum and aunties arent old their only 46ish but i dont think theyed like to be dragged round town seeing their daughter/niece turning into a monster full of alcohol!!!. i would like to go dirt bugging but then again ive i got to think of the price for everyone else. A girly nite in with several bottles and a curry sound more appealing the longer i think about it. Anyway your suggestions would be most useful
many thanks

Hi
For my hen night i went to a bar in London then onto a restaurant for a lovely slap up meal and after to a 70's nightclub and we all dressed up it was such a laugh, we hired a stretched limo to take us into London and chauffer us around the night.
For my friends we went to Marbella for the weekend and it was fantastic, by day we sat by the pool and went for lunch and by night we went to a few bars and for a meal, it was all quite reasonable too.
If i had the chance to do it again i would definately go away for a girlie weekend and then the people that couldnt make the weekend have a meal with them when you get back.
Hope that helps

A friend of mine did this for her hen night - its in Nottingham so not too far from you - we had an absolutely hilarious time. One of the best hen nights Ive ever been to.

I organised a nice meal at the Axe and Compass pub in Wolvey, Leics for my Mum and Aunty and any freinds thats didnt come away with us, there was 12 of us on that.
Then 9 of us went to Cheltenham for the night, we stayed in JMP Luxury apartments in the centre of Cheltenham, we had a good time and it wasnt too expensive.
My mate hired a party bus and did a tour of Newcastle, that sounds a laugh.
Have a search on google, there are lots of companies that organise special hen weekend partys.Just owe Dad £2500 for a new car

Last weekend I went to the Lake District with some friends for a hen weekend. We hired a five bedroom house which worked out a at very reasonable price between us. We also put together a kitty and shopped on tesco for food and booze. This was delivered to the house direct. It was a fun, yet civilised weekend. I would say its the ideal weekend if there are a few different age groups involved. We ate together, drank lots together and stayed up late together! We did some activities on the Saturday but it was optional and some girls chose to go for a coffee and wait.0

We are going to the Centre Parks spa, Aqua Sana, for my friend's hen day, then to a "Proms in the Park" event (its a Queen greatest hits sing along one) with a posh picnic and pink champagne. We are a mixed age group and thought that this would be fun for everone, without anybody feeling uncomfortable. There is an Aqua Sana at the Sherwood Forest location, which is quite near to you. We thought it would be a nice idea for everyone and the bride to be is going to have lots of pampering treatments, so that she looks great on the big day. I have my eye on the Elemis Lime and Ginger bodyscrub...........mmmmmmm!!0

We went to Bristol and had an ace time.
We all went to a recording studio for the afternoon and recorded some songs!
It was such good fun!!
They gave us a couple of glasses of bubbly to help with the nerves and even the girls who wouldn't normally sing got into it and had a fantastic time.
At the end we all got a CD with our efforts on to torture our freinds with.
Brilliant!0 -
I bunged them on all on one do. Got quite cheap flights to Paris, stayed in cheapish accommodation for two nights - friends, colleague, auntie, mum and gandma came!0

If you do go away for a girlie weekend then make sure all your friends can afford it first! My best friend got married 2 years ago & we paid £200 for flights & a crap hotel for 2 nights. I didn't have a nice time at all as I felt bad if I didn't go but when I was there, the hotel was so crap I spent most the time thinking how much money I had wasted0
