Ford Company - Please help.

Hello Everyone, I have got huge problem and I have not got any clue what do do next in my situation.
On the beginning of January I bought Ford C-Max on auction. I was driving this car for a week when I noted that car was loosing power. I took car to Ford garage and ask them to give me information what is wrong with it. Paid for this around £120. They gave me list what should be done with my car, I made appointment week after. Left my car, they changed what should be change, I paid £300 and... when I try to start my car I could not hear my diesel engine the sound has been similar to a tractor. I thought that the engine would jump out of the car. I knew that I can not to drive this car away. They said that after they changed some parts and engine recover power back some dirt probably come to engine and broke it :T. Ok, than now they ask me to pay them £1000 to repair it. I am not mechanic, but I gave my car to a dealer not just any garage and expected to solve my problem. They telling me now that engine was broken before, if that is true why they didn't tell me when I asked them what's wrong with my car ? They telling me that engine light didn't flash, than if that is true that is mean for me that engine was good to work, was it? I paid for this car £ 2200. Not much maybe, but for me this is lots of money. If they would tell me on the inspection that the engine has got big problem I wouldn't repair it and I wouldn't loose so much money. If I would have £4000 to spend for a car I wouldn't buy this one. What I should do now ? I wrote complain letter to them, but they saying that is my fault not their, they do not want to understand that if they would give me information which I was ask them for we wouldn't have this problem now and this is my main issue. I just fell tricked and forced to repair my car and pay them this money. I can't take my car back, because I can't drive it anyway. What to do, please help :(

Your post is very hard to follow but basically you bought the car at auction cheaply, very soon after it developed a problem so you took it to a ford garage to be looked at, they said it needed some work, they then did this work and it turns out the car now needs further work.

I'd say that the previous owner knew there was a problem and that is why it got put through the auction as there is usually very little come back that way.

With regards to the garage we need to know a bit more info about what was up with it before we can say too much.

i think the problem here is the car had a turbo problem so it was underpowererd
ford? fixed this problem but now power returned engine is heard to have big mechanical problem
its quite possible this car had catastrophic turbo failure prior to selling in the block they fitted a s/h turbo but bits from the old one have now entered the engine

    hardly dealers fault
one of the reasons i tell people who no nowt about cars to come and see me rather than go down auction and bid

some listen and i have big juicy joint on table sunday afternoon some dont and we eat bread

Thank you for so quick response. I am so sorry for my gramma but English is not my first language. I will try to be more correct now.
I do understand your point that previous owner could know about damages, but I give my car to Dealer to let me know what was wrong and from my point they failed this part.
    They sort out for me:
    A/ LAB
VEHICLE LACKING POWER. X/R 24043, IDS CHECKS CARRID OUT, REQUIRES TURBO CROSSOVER PIPE, BOOST PIPE, PCM UPGRADE AND FUTURE CHECKS. FIT NEW PIPES, REPROGRAM PCM. ROAD TEST VEHICLE; FOUND ENGINE KNOCKING ON TEST ( just to add that didn't knock before)
    B/ BHC
CARRY OUT FREE VISUAL HEALTH CHECK

    Is this enough ?

Ignore sb's last comments, he's just having a motor trader joke (?).

However, I imagine what he says has happened to your engine is likely to be correct. Your car is probably undriveable now, which is a pity as you can't easily take it somewhere cheaper than a Ford dealer to be looked at. If you could do that then a replacement engine might be the best solution, and it may be worth finding out how much this would be before agreeing to let the dealer do anything more. But I'm afraid to say the costs may mount up and make it uneconomic to do anything other than sell it to someone who is prepared to do the work themselves. It's an expensive lesson about using auctions when you don't know what to look for.

Just to add it's easily possible that the trainee mechanic at the garage !!!!!!ed something up. They're used to servicing nearly new cars (simple stuff), not carrying out major repairs on old one's.
