  • Well something very similar happened to me. Their messages are very confusing and the web page very difficult to understand. After 36 hours of work with very few barks, I was unable to get 200 dollars because I, by mistake, cancel a proposal and I lost any chance to communicate with my client and to received my money. Because I've already sent the client the job. The site has very wrong mechanisms to relate with the client and the many possibilities that could come up in a human relationship or work. I will unregister form that site, and I very clearly do not recommend this site to work.

I asked for help and the support team cleaned their hands with my request, this is a really bad site to work. If you are going to control all the communication between the the client and the seller you need to do it right because a big mistake is not to let the person to earn his or her money

does anyone here use the site peopleperhour.com

i have had a look at this site and as you have to pay money to use it i thought i would check it out first.
i am interested in writting articles.i've had afew published so i know i can do it but i'm in no way an expert and i do not specialise in anything.
is the site worth an investment or is there another site that maybe more suitable.

take a look at the freelancer sites (.com and .co.uk versions)

no cost to freelancers to bid or register to actually be in a position to bid for projects - its the people hiring that pay the fees to make the site work (which is the way it should be) :)

good luck with finding freelancing work - it is out there I did it for years and only stopped recently as I felt it was time to rejoin the real world of work
  • My advice. Steer well clear of this site. Any personal details you register with them will be splashed all over the internet. If you commission work, you will across as a temp agent if your name is googled. Furthermore, your details will be locked in and even if you de-activate your account, your details will remain online. Dodgy site, and certainly don't entrust your money to them.
