AMAZON Fantastic service

I bought some make-up from Amazon, on receiving it I was dismayed to discover it was completely the wrong shade. I wrote to Amazon asking if there was a chance for me to return it and get another shade. (I really didn't think they would allow this).
Within 24 hours I had a reply saying that they would refund the money, and that because of the nature of the purchase, there was no need to return it!!! I am amazed! Credit where it is due eh?
WELL DONE AMAZON

Amazon are pretty fab all round in my experience. I order regularly from them and haven't got a bad thing to say about them. Even on the rare occasions when things haven't gone to plan, it has been sorted out quickly and efficiently.

Under distance selling regulations you are allowed to receive goods and examine (and approve/accept) them. You have 7 days (I believe) in which to do this. And you have to reject the goods in writing. So you got something you didn't like (fair enough) and since they'd rather not have it back they refunded you without quibbling.

Excellent customer service though, I agree
