Car Hire Lanzarote Help??

Hi There.
I have booked to go to Lanzarote 01/03/07 – 08/03/07. staying in PDC. Im trying to work out whether its worth me hiring a car or not! Firstly will save me on taxi fares of around 13 euros each way and also if we do a couple of day trips out ie national park, playa blanca and the market in Teguise!
The best price iv seen is £81 (can anyone beat that? .. im 23). Just wondered if the transport links will be cheaper or not? Also staying near the old harbour and don’t know if it costs to park my car there?
Any info/help greatly appreciated!
