you buy a car for £1295 with part ex from screen price of £1495.
trader makes £300 on the part ex when he sold it (know the guy who bought it).
less than 12 mionths down the line, and 2k added to mileage of 110k, had new brakes discs pads allround, new exhaust from cat back new injector seals, full professional valet Mop polish waxing cleaned inside everywhere, due mot passes with no advisories all new tyres.
your curcumstances change your off to america for a fresh new start a new life, you give first dibs of the car to the trader you bought it from, without desclosing you reasons.
the trader then offers £200 cash, would you get peeved off? what would your thought and responses be at this?
i am not in this situation but i have bought a car from the same trader he's a local trusted trader that been running for 15+ years, i have sent people looking for cars from him and people have bought form him after being sent there by me, my friend has also done the same and had this response when offering to sell back the car.
what would your responses be guys??
i know what i would tell him!

yip, but the damn cheek of it, really £200 for a car he made a profit on first time round made a profit form the part ex and now had the oppertunity to take it back and re sell it making yet another profit.
cars worth £1295 private (as all similar make and models up for that on pistonheads autotrader ebay etc.
my mate would have been happy taking £600-750 happily knowing he needed to make some sort of profit from it. for the first offer of £200 then £400 final c'mon. if a customer said this he'd laugh in their face walk away form just being insulted.
ooohhh wait i have news 2 secs,,, just got off phone to mate, car was sold today £800 to another dealer in another valley from us.0
