Moving, which gas/electricity to go with

When you move into your new house make sure you register with the current suppliers and give them the meter readings even if you are switching. Then look at a switching site.
You could ask the previous occupants of your new home what their consumption was, or most switching sites will let you put in details about your house and estimate it for you.0 -

That is really a 'how long is a piece of string' question.
It depends on:
Where you live.
How much gas you use.
How much electricity you use.
How you intend paying.
How you want your account administered - post/internet
It may be better to get Electricity from company A and gas from company B as that will work out cheaper than dual fuel from the same company.
Even if you get it absolutely spot on and have the cheapest supplier(s) when you make your decision; it could all change next day when companies change their tariff.0
