do you think shse might benefit from getting her own scooter/ mine is a gogo scooter which i bought second hand for 300. it goes into the boot.

i bet if you trawl ebay you'll find one for less than that.
shopmobility is ok, but of course you can only use it when the shopmobility shop is open, and you will be limited to where you go on it because you have to get it back, and it runs on batteries.

also, if she has her own, she can use it all year round for popping out and about!!:)

Thanks for your help. She does have here own scooter but shes going by bus so she can't take it with her, she can walk small distances so it will make her more indipendent when shes there if she can get a scooter

    - you will need to do much more localised work on this
    - most 'Shopmobility' scooters are deliberately limited to .. .. shops
    - as in town centre and retail area's only

Good value 3 and 4 wheeled ranging from FOC to £1 per hour, visitor rate. Always a good idea to book in advance, popular areas are always busy.

Shop mobility scooters tend to be limited in time used too, or that was the case a few years ago. We had to get one as an emergency for my FIL once and he was allowed two hours on it and limited where the could go.
