Scottish Power and the Warm Home Scheme
Has anybody been paid out yet by scottish power for the warm home rebate who met the 'broader group' qualifying criteria?
I understand from my original application that it could take until the end of March to receive this money but following recent telephone calls to scottish power i am loosing confidence in them.
I was initially told by scottish power that i should call the DWP directly as it was nothing to do with them. I was told i should have received a letter and payment from them by now. I was also told by scottish power that they had no record of my application.
I have tried contacting scottish power by telephone and email but am just getting nowhere with them. I am just told by completing the form it does not mean i will receive the money and also there is no record of my application.
I definately meet all the criteria for the broader group and have a printout from there website showing application sent successfully.
I just wondered if anybody has received this payment yet?
Also I have raised a complaint with scottish power regarding being told they had no record of my application. They are so far not following there own complaints procedure

Well its now the 31/03/2012 and the payments should have reached our electricity accounts by now?
I did receive a telephone call from 'Graham' at Scottish Power on 08/03/2012 to say they had received my application and confirmed i met the 'broader group' criteria.
Just wondered if any other scottish power customers had received these payments yet?0 -
I know its not SP,but I got my £120 with EDF on the 1st March paid into my energy account.
I'm not a pensioner but get income support and DLA0 -
Entered my meter readings online this morning to Scottish Power and the £120 credit appeared against my electricity account. (nothing showing on my account previously only when the bill was generated)
Applied for WHD online but received no email confirmation from SP that it was accepted nor any other confirmation about a payment etc"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist." Franklin Jones0
