Hi Invisblegirls,

I requested this in a earlier post and also seen the post claiming it could be a con, these people just dont realise how hard these people are working.

I too have just got back from the memorial service myself and must say how well it run. It does show how much support people are prepared to give for such a worthy cause.

I am sure the majority of us are prepared to wait.

I see the wristband as a bonus, as a liverpool fan i am just glad to be donating to such a worthy cause. And if people are waiting weeks for the wrist band and wondering were they are, just wonder how the people in the charity feel waiting years for something to happen about the dredful events at hillsborough.

When the wristbands are in stock, can they be bought at the Liverpool shops at Anfield and Williamson Square or only by mail order?

I dont think htey canbe bought at the actual Liverpool shop, but they canbe bought at the Hillsborough support group shop which is oppisite the Kop at Anfield.

They are open most match days or drop them a quick email (follow thelink at the head of this post).

I was in no way suggesting this was a con, it just struck me as odd that it was a yahoo address and that an unscrupulous individual could set another address very similar to it to take advantage of those wishing to contribute to the cause.

Miss G is, as ever, right again. The Shop is opposite the Albrt Pub not far from the club shop @ Anfield and is open on match days. Get there early if you are calling in on a match day because limited stocks have been an sale at the shop to ensure all the orders are fulfilled.

It seems that open discussion of issues relating to L'pool are not allowed. But then we should have known that anyway.

As above, the wrist bands are available from the shop over the road from the Kop, if they have no stock left u can leave you name and addy and pay for the bands there, they will then post them out to u.

They are working flat out to get the bands to everyone but there's been a major need for them which is great to raise cash but not so good for the people trying to send them out!

I've ordered mine and still waiting, but like a few of u i'm not bothered if i actually get them!
