They are working flat out to get the bands to those who ordered them.
You WILL recieve them but bear in mind it's the anniversary next Friday so a difficult time for a lot of the people involved.
I know the support is appreciated. if you're ever at Anfield for a game, whoever you support, drop into the shop to say hello.0 -

A lot of posts have had to be removed from this thread. Please show a bit more sensativity in future or this thread will have to be permanentlylocked or removed which would be a shame as it is for a good cause.
Thanks for your co-operation.0 -
Thanks MSE Controller, and whoever it was that locked the thread at the time....
I just wanted to thank MissG for starting the topic, and for the PM that should help my neice buy the wristbands.
I'll keep my mouth shut about the rest of it, but it looks like wristbands are here to stay, so if your kids are into these things, why not buy them via this link? Or similar wristbands that aren't for sale at exhorbitant prices elsewhere??
Thanks again.
P.S. MissG? If it baffled me about paypal it might baffle others. Can anyone order via your link?0 -
My brother bidded for one of these wristbands and won the auction for £8. He really wanted a wristband so I passed on the link from here, but they have been out of stock for a while. I told him sellers on ebay were moneygrabbing sickos selling them on and keeping the proceeds.
He emailed the seller and told them what he thought of them!! also he emailed ebay to express his disgust that they were allowed to sell them and make money from such a tragedy.
He recieved a reply by ebay officials that said that all auctions selling the wristbands had been removed and the auction won by him had been invalidated, along with all other recent auctions selling similar items.
About time too!0 -
Sent for one some time ago - it hasn't arrived. To tell you the truth I don't care if it doesn't ever arrive. The people behind this site are doing a wonderful job. I was pleased enough to have the opportunity to donate some money to them.

Hi
Everyone who has ordered these wristbands, i am sure they will arrive shortly. I know they have been working flat out to get them produced and dispatched, as yet i have still not had mine.
Can i request people leave it until atleast next week as it is the anniversary tomorrow and i imagine there will be official people selling them there.
I will email them next week and ask if they have an up to date time on when they will be dispatched. If people wish i can ask when everyones is likley to be dispatched, if you would like me to enquire on your behalf please PM me with your name and also the email address in which the paypal payment was sent.
Once again thanks to everyone for the kind support people have shown and please spare a though tomorrow for the families of this tradgedy.
Kind regards

MissG wrote:Hi Alison,
It could be worth droppig them a quick mail justice_4_96@yahoo.co.uk to confirm if there is a limitation on the amount you can order.
Is it just the cynic in me, or does it seem rather curious that a charity has a yahoo email address, rather than a domain name based one?
Particularly odd for receiving PayPal payments as I could set one up very very similar.
Like I said, maybe it's just the cynic in me.0 -
I like to give them the benifit of the doubt. At no time have i considered this could be a con, maybe I'm naive but I'm prepared to donate what amounts to be a small amount of money in the hope it helps a very worthwhile cause.0

Chuffy, Yes it is just the cynic in you,and anyone else with unfulfilled orders
you will get your band.
Just got back from the memorial service @ anfield. The lads are still working day and night to get the bands out. Demand was a lot higher than expected (Thanks to everyone for that) so you WILL get your order.
If when the smoke clears and all the orders are fullfilled you still have no bands PM me with your details and I will personally go to see them and sort it for you. It would only be an oversight.
These people are working too hard for the cause and are of too strong a belief to consider conning people.
As ever your support and patience is appreciated. Thanks0
