Help Laptop & Fizzy Drink Combination

Yep yesterday I knocked a glass of fizzy orange drink over my sister’s brand new laptop! Everything is working ok but the keys, they seem to be sticking, surprise, surprise. It was put in the airing cupboard last night but this was to no avail. I tried to remove the keys but they seem really tricky to get off and with them being so flimsy I'm a bit scared of breaking them. Am I removing them wrong? Confused
Any ideas how I can get this all sorted with out taking a trip to some computer shop? It's about 2 months old, would it be under guarantee for such an event? I doubt it and that’s why I didn't want to ring up and inform them of my accident. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance guys

Hi there, glad I'm not alone in this! I spilt a glass of milk over mine last week! And to my suprise it was covered for accidental damage under the normal warranty. It's definately worth ringing the manufacturer. Mines a fujitsu, they collected it the same day, replaced the keyboard and returned it three days later.0

If you can get hold of some isopropanol ,you mght be able to clean the keys. Once put on leave it for a bit .Often though drinks and keybord = money .0

Apparently they should pop off according to this

however another site suggest that not all keyboards come off the same and some of the Fujitsu keyboards come off in one go. I would post on
http://support.fujitsu-siemens.fr/forum/index.php?sid=c4e34082b9210f6f5be6ccf6935745e1
giving details of the laptop you have and what has happened I'm sure someone can tell you the best way to clean it.0 -
