Yes it is, a person may place any restriction on their availability if that restriction is due to a physical or mental condition and there is no requirement for them to show reasonable prospects within those restrictions
You still have to be able to do the minimums though, you cannot restrict yourself to 10 hours for example, unless you have a link to something that shows different.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
[/greenhighlight][redtitle]
The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -

Thanks everyone for your advice.
I've calmed down now and decided that I will appeal. I had an appointment with my rheumatologist yesterday, and she said she would write a supportive letter for my appeal as will my GP.
So thanks again.0 -

Sounds like you've got a particularly helpful specialist. My advice would be to take a list of all the descriptors for WRAG and Support Grp and tick the ones you think apply... and tell the specialist this is what you think applies to you and the closer their letter is regarding the descriptors the better..lol"Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -

To right they has, its takes dedication to see a patient on a Sunday, even my private sprecialists didnt do that for routine appointments, nor did they write to my GP as thats not their job, I had to copy in my GP if I wanted them to have details.0 -
Which is why I've reported your post as SPAM.
I am concerned that Dunroamin has not thought his actions through or given sufficient detail as to his true gripe before pushing the "report spam" button in regard to my post #25 above.
It is very easy to be brave from behind the safe anonymity of a key board. One line pot shots impress Forum Moderators not at all. As a Moderator of a Forum myself, I would be singularly unimpressed to see a similar action with so little reason given for operating the spam button. The response from Dunroamin is in my opinion, ungracious to say the least.
Technically, in my opinion, I believe Dunroamins actions are questionable. I am resisting pushing the "report" button for inappropriate comment and actions myself. I do not believe my post can be regarded as spam. A link to the site in question has not been electronically added and that being the case, no offence of this Forum Rules has been committed. Neither has my post been removed by Board Guides or have I been warned that I have committed any offence. There are several other links electronically added to other postings within this thread. Perhaps Dunroamin should consider also reporting all those as spam?
The internet site that I mentioned in my post is a well known non commercial, highly respected independently operated portal to benefit advice. In my opinion it is a one stop shop to finding answers to many well hidden secrets within the benefit system. I am guilty of nothing more than drawing attention to a non commercial access point which can clear the fog surrounding points allocation in the ESA/WCA system and help ease the anguish that a claimant can experience during an often long winded, frustrating, frightening and unclear bureaucratic paper chase.
Further more, I do not concider that I have deliberately or knowingly flouted this Forums rules or if the Board Guides consider that I have, then I am more than happy to take down my post or to delete my lead contained therein. I believe Board Guides should have the last word on this matter.
I am heartened that Troyster found my post helpful. That is the reason I posted. Namely to assist claimants towards a successful outcome of their claim against often seemingly insurmountable odds.
Forums of the nature of Money Saving Expert are badly needed. To be able to gain information in a relatively free speech environment is what makes the internet and the surrounding site network so valuable. It is curious that on occasions, there would always appear to be some individual that wishes to censor or stifle that possibility.0 -

The reason I was seen on a Sunday was because I had 3 appointments cancelled due to the consultant's pneumonia. I think she was just trying to catch up now and working extra days. Just a normal NHS hospital, not private.0
