0% Balance transfer to same card, will this work?

in Credit cards
Hi not posted in here for a while.
I have an idea which might just work so just thought I would run it past a few people to see if I am missing anything.
The halifax have offered me a 0% balance tranfer to my current account and as it is I ahve ended up with a couple of grand nack on there with buying a house and booking a wedding.
Now I am using way less than half of the credit card so if I transfer enough to clear the card to my current account (doubling the balance) and then pay off the credit card with said money will they have to take it from the highest rate balance which should in theory leave me with a 0% balance.
Could that work?, not to upset if its doesn't but it seems easy enough and could save me a few quid.

Yup. You need to pay the fee of course, but it will work.0

Yes it will work0

Yeah the fee is 3% but it will be less than the interest would have been after a few months.
The offer is until the end of April to which there is a few more expenses to come so I will leave it a bit longer.
Thanks for the input.
Next mission is to clear it down again.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Brilliant stuff!
You've gotta feel sorry for the CCs in this situation. (OK so nobody will..)0
