RBS Platinum Credit Card & Gambling

Noobie here, in a but of a rutt.

Have an RBS Platinum credit card, £2000 limit. Stupidly spent £1800 betting online as I needed the money for student debts I still carry.

Have just been accepted for an m&s credit card and will receive it shortly. Is it advisable to transfer it all to the m&s one? Or just pay it off on the RBS? Will it be frowned upon by M&S knowing i've just received it and want £1800 of gambling transactions put straight on it?

I have £2k coming in next week to my bank, shall I pay it all off at once? Or transfer and pay monthly?:(

If there is a 0% balance transfer option, then get that £1800 transferred.

M & S won't know that balance was created via gambling, it's just a balance.

Just be careful that once the RBS card is clear you don't go mad gambling on it, not judging here but I have been there & bought the t-shirt!

    Sorry... couldn't resist..

(The only time I won something was in a raffle. I did indeed win a t-shirt. Bizarrely, I drew the prize. So I volunteered to draw again - and drew a ticket held by my girlfriend. The shirt was too big for her, so she gave it to me.)

Actually worse... They won't know but they WILL increase his risk score.

Also Santander, RBS and Natwest WILL know you have risk.

£1800 could feed alot of hungry people, immunise children in third world countries or help towards the cure of cancer.
