First time buyer here. I saw an ad this week about some flats in Battersea. Looking into this Galliard Homes have bought a block of refurbished flats that were previously repossessed. They're having a launch weekend at the end of the week. After talking to them they sound pretty desperate to get rid of these flats off their books. I've had several e-mails and texts from them and they have advertised in the Metro and Standard all this week. 2 bedroom flats start at £335k. A similar flat in the same block was sold in 2009 for £265k. I'm planning to go down this weekend and see what's available.
Can anyone give any good tips when negiotiating with the developers? And what's an acceptable low figure to start from?
