Costs of buying

Hello all,
I am looking to buy a house in the region of £180k in the South East (if that makes any difference!) and I'm just wondering what costs I will be looking to incur.
I am selling a propert too (so im not a first time buyer) but I'm pretty clear on the costs involved there.
Property to buy will be freehold property and I can't envisage needing any removal for my meagre belongs! What other costs should I be thinking of?
Many thanks.

Deposit, solicitors, stamp duty, mortgage arrangement fee (and associated fees), survey, valuation, other reports if needed, insurance from exchange, post redirection... off the top of my head, anyway. Prob others.

Thanks Hazyjo, any ideas of how much these cost would be great, sorry I wasnt very clear in my question!
I think stamp duty is 1%, so £1800 but I'm not so sure of how much the other costs would be.

Yep, 1% for SD.
Valuation - might be included in mortgage deal, or as part of survey. Valuation has to be done by mortgage provider if getting a mortgage. Not negotiable. Low hundreds if they charge.
Survey - homebuyers or full structural. Between £300-1k+. Full structural usually around the £800 mark, but I've been quoted £500 before. Homebuyer's around £400, give or take a hundred or so.
Not advisable to just rely on the valuation. I'd always get a survey done too.
Solicitors - I always allow around a grand. Will be less, but you might lose properties along the way. Will (usually) still be charged for whatever they've done.
Mortgage fees can be hundreds or thousands. Depends what product you choose.
