PPI Help please

Hi all,

Just wondered if you could give me some advise for my other half regarding PPI claim back. She originally was mis-sold PPI when she signed up for the mortgage on her house (she was told she must take it for security even though she was in employment with the same employer for over 10 years!). This was done through a mortgage advisor and I believe the payments were through a company called payment sheild. She has phoned one of the PPI claim back companies and she is being told that because they cannot track the individual mortgage advisor who mis-sold the PPI (to blame), there is little they can do to help in regards to claiming the money back. Is this correct? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.
