I have sent some pictures (by e-mail) from my phone to my lappy but I can,t open them. I just get the message that windows cannot open this file and needs to know what program created it. The pics were sent from a Blackberry and an iPhone to my Samsung which is an Android phone (I don,t know if that info is relevant or not). I think they are called a "file 21"
Can anyone recommend a program that will open them?

What is the full name of the file, including the part after the full stop? Windows uses that to decide what to open the file with.
If it's not a common extension like .jpg then try changing the name to include .jpg. If it already has a commonly used extension then something has been screwing about with your Windows file associations.0
