Acer laptop & warranty

I've seen an Acer I like on the Comet website. However, I think their extended warranty is a bit of a rip off. Is there anything to stop me buying an acer extended warranty from somewhere else (Ebuyer do a three year extended one for about £50) and getting the laptop from Comet. Through Quidco of course:D

Just found that Amazon do the Acer warranties even cheaper! Range from about £20 to £30.0

I have their extended warranty, its well worth it for £50 for 3 years. You can buy the warranty from whoever you want."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

Not sure if the cheap Amazon ones are for their laptops so I'm just checking.0
