TV Shopping channels

Does anybody know if there are any pitfalls to shopping on Bid TV & Price-drop TV. I know to add £8 p&p + price of premium rate phone call, but I recently saw a DAB radio go for not a lot of difference from what Argos were selling it (with a different brand name) for.

  • I loathe these channels and I'd be very wary of any of the goods they peddle. As you say, expensive P&P plus premium phone calls. You'd be far better using eBay or price comparison websites (together with cashback like Quidco) to purchase items from reputable companies.

The shame of people knowing you watch it?
  • You dont have to phone up tho,you can bid for items on the computer so you dont have to pay for the phone call....

Hi David, welcome, it costs nothing to thank the MSE's that are trying to help you, they may save you enough money to afford to shop.
