pup.bundleinstaller virus! HELP

Hi
My laptop went crazy yesterday, while on the net it started opening up web pages at random, lots of tabs being opened up and eventually it came to a halt and crashed. Now every time I go on net, it is opening new tabs and various sites. I ran Malwarebytes on quick scan and also MSE but nothing came up as suspicious. However when I ran Malwarebytes on full scan it threw up as the above virus. Which I thought it had got rid of, unfortunately the virus is still there. Can someone help.

Thanx in advance
GD

Run malwarebytes in windows safe mode, and see if that sorts it out, also ensure you have the latest updates from MB.

Did you click on the "Fix ticked" (or whatever the option says)?
Can you post the log it created from the full scan?

Yes, I did check the fix box, however that did not sort it. I will do another scan this evening when I get home and let you have the log. The MB is up to date.

Post the log where pup.bundleinstaller wasdetected.

    PUP's
are Potentially Unwanted Programs - Emphasis on potentially unwanted - They are not viruses & are at the very bottom of the malware scale as they are not usually that malicious. bundleinstaller refers to software that bundles (includes) other software along with the program you want, usually unwanted toolbars and the like.

I doubt whether that is the cause of your problems.

Mbam's detection & removal capabilities are at it's best in normal mode - not safe mode. A driver it utilises doesn't load in safe mode.
