Problems registering with 1899

Hi there, any of you guys getting probs signing up for 1899? I have tried a few times over the last month and i just keep getting a email saying registration has failed and to try signing up in 6 weeks time  I use 18866 no probs so i was wondering if anyone else has had these probs.

yes, I've had the same failure to register and to apply again in six weeks' time. Must be over-subscribed.

At least i am not the only one i though maybe it was because i was using my partners maestro card for the payment as i don't have one, so i will try again in a few weeks but its a pity innit but i suppose i still have 18866. :j
  • I registered with 1899 a week back - after they introduced their VOIP product. I didn't have any problems - I took some advice from other posts where Edinburghlass had suggested using a mobile mobile then adding landlines - worth a try.

I posted the tip for signing up to 1899/18866 in the Welcome to Home Phones thread here if anyone else has the same problem. Glad it has worked for you both ;)

Hi, I've just tried registering for the first time on 1899 and had the same e-mail. also says it's due to lack of capacity.

In that case try again using your mobile number. Once it goes through and you get the confirmation, sign in and add your landline number!

Great! That worked fine - registered my mobile and then added my home number. Thanks!
