Bank of Scotland / Halifax Login Details letter

We have Halifax accounts. My husband can only use his log in on the Bank of Scotland website, the Halifax website wont let him in any more. I have a POA account for my Mum with Bank of Scotland, both sites wont let me use the proper POA login, but the Halifax site lets me use an old log in. On both issues the bank were uninterested. Whats the problem you can access the account...x x x0
